Honda PCX is a 125cc premium automatic scooter with a luxurious, exclusive and dashing appearance supported by the best features that provide pride and driving comfort as expected by today's premium big scooter lovers.
The Honda PCX is a scooter developed by Honda. It was released on March 30 (Tuesday) 2010. Honda PCX is equipped with a newly developed water-cooled single-cylinder 125cc engine with excellent environmental performance such as adopting an idling stop system on the body of an advanced design. Honda continues to produce the Honda PCX 125cc version (with eSP) for export to select markets, such as Europe, where local licence requirements favour this engine displacement.
Honda PCX 125 has "high quality and advanced styling that exceeds the class" and "high power performance and environment" in order to meet the diversifying needs of customers in the popular two-wheeled moped market due to its economic efficiency and convenience. It was developed as a next-generation 125cc scooter with the keywords of "combining performance" and "comfort and ease of use required for scooters". The engine is equipped with a water-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder 125cc engine that uses low friction technology. In addition to the electronically controlled fuel injection system (PGM-FI*1), it is the first 125cc class in Japan to be equipped with an idling stop system that automatically stops the engine when it is paused. *2and achieves low fuel consumption of 53km/L (60km/h constant-land driving test value). By adopting large diameter wheels of 14 inches in front and rear, the car body realizes excellent running stability and a higher-grade comfortable ride. In addition, Honda's original combination brake (front/rear wheel interlocking brake) is standard equipment, making it possible to efficiently obtain stable braking force. The design has a high-quality presence that exceeds the class by pursuing design that extends to the details of the car body, such as the elegant form and the characteristic dual halogen headlights with integrated turn signals.
Storage is 25L*3 storage space for a full-face helmet and gloves under the seat and 1.5L*4 for the front cowl. A glove box is provided for comfortable usability.

Newly developed 125cc engine that achieves both high power performance and environmental performance
The newly developed lightweight, compact water-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder 125cc engine has an idling stop system that automatically stops the engine when the engine is temporarily stopped due to traffic lights or traffic jams. Installed for the first time. It reduces unnecessary fuel consumption and exhaust gas when idling, and demonstrates higher environmental performance. In addition, PGM-FI, which supplies the optimum fuel, is used to achieve both environmental performance and ample power in the entire area. It achieves low fuel consumption of 53km/L (60km/h constant-land driving test value). In addition, the 125cc class is the first in Japan to use an ACG starter that integrates a starter motor and an ACG (alternator), making the engine width more compact and quieter when the engine starts. By adopting PGM-FI and a catalyst device (catalyzer) installed in the muffler, it complies with domestic motorcycle emission regulations.
Reliable driving performance
14-inch front and rear aluminum wheels are used to achieve driving stability and a higher-grade comfortable ride. A disc brake equipped with a compact and lightweight 3-pot caliper that demonstrates stable braking performance is used on the front. Furthermore, just by operating the rear wheel brake (left lever), the braking force is appropriately distributed to the front wheels, and Honda's original combination brake (front/rear wheel interlocking brake) that enables stable braking efficiently is standard equipment. Despite its generous body size, the weight of the vehicle is as light as 126 kg. Excellent operability is achieved by the low center of gravity design with the fuel tank installed at the feet and the upright riding position with the steering wheel, seat, footrest, etc. arranged in a well-balanced manner.

Full equipment that enhances usability
A 25L space is secured under the seat to store full-face helmets, gloves, rainwear, etc. so that it can be used for all-round use such as commuting to work/school or leisure. There is also an easy-to-use 1.5L glove box inside the front cowl. In addition, it is equipped with a key cylinder with a shutter that is highly effective in deterring tampering and theft, a seat open switch that can be opened with a single touch, and a center stand and side stand that can be used properly. The seat height is set to 760mm in consideration of foot comfort.
