The 1969 Yamaha CT-1 is a dual purpose trail motorcycle with 175cc 2-stroke engine manufactured by Yamaha Motor from year 1969 until 1973. The Yamaha CT1 can produce 14.0 horsepower @ 6350 rpm. This model took the export spec model and rearranged it for the Japanese market in response to the domestic boom in trail riding popularity pioneered by the Yamaha DT-1. It mounted a 2-stroke, 175cc engine with a single aluminum cylinder on a high-tensile steel pipe double cradle frame. With 125cc class lightness and powerful performance comparable to a 250cc class model, it could be ridden on expressways, allowing for an even wider range of use.
