The Yamaha TDR 250 is a dual-purpose motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha between 1988 and 1993. It is powered by a two-stroke parallel twin engine utilizing the Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS).

The TDR250, the top model in the TDR series, was introduced in January 1988, based on the machine that won the 250cc class by Shinji Kazama at the Rally held in 1987. It is equipped with the same water-cooled 2-cycle parallel 2-cylinder (1KT) engine as the company's racer replica, TZR250. Equipped with a body mount cowl designed integrally with the tank. While maintaining the same 45ps as the TZR, the reduction ratio was set low and emphasis was placed on acceleration performance. With a combination of a well-maintained body and a skilled rider, 0-100km / h can mark a little less than 5 seconds even in normal. The wheels were spokes, but F110 / 90-18 and R120 / 80-17 size tires were worn, and front and rear single discs were installed.
